Fire District ProfileDeer Park - Silverton Joint Fire District proudly protects 12000 people living in an area of 2 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. We have an ISO rating of 3.The Deer Park Silverton Joint Fire District is located in the north-east side of Hamilton County, Ohio. The cities of Deer Park and Silverton are suburbs of metropolitan Cincinnati. The Deer Park Silverton Joint Fire District started operation April 1, 1999. The department was formed by the City of Deer Park and City of Silverton Fire Departments combining. The department consist of 9 fulltime firefighters of which 8 are paramedics and 1 fulltime fire district clerk. The fulltime staff is supplemented by over 40 part-time personnel. The department operates 2 Medic transport units, 1 ALS first responder unit, 2 Engines, 1 Ladder, 2 support units, and 2 staff vehicles. Deer Park - Silverton Joint Fire District also provides paramedic service to the neighboring communities of Amberley Village and part of Columbia Township.
