For more information visit the links tab.8/4/2015- The fire district participated in the Village of Silverton's National Night Out at Silverton's Municipal building.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________5/19/2015- Members of the fire district spent the day at Yeatman’s Cove teaching fire prevention and safety to area students. This is the fifth year that we have participated in this event, which exposes approximately 3,000 middle school students to local firefighters and firefighting equipment. The event is organized by the Cincinnati Fire Department, with participation by other local fire departments in the region.5/25/2015- Every year after participating and honoring our veterans in the Memorial Day parade, we have a community cookout in the bays at Station 89. A great turnout this year and a big thanks to all who helped.5/23/2015- At 1717 R-89 was dispatched to I-71 and Stewart Rd for fuel spill. Crew found approx. 30 gallons of diesel fuel on Stewart and the pump area of the fuel station.5/26/2015- At approx. 0530 Rescue and Medic 89 were dispatched to the intersection of Montgomery Rd. and Sampson Ln. for an auto accident with a vehicle on it's top. Crews found vehicle on it's top next to the post office with no injuries.6/13/2015- Rescue and Medic 89 along with Engine and Medic 47 were dispatched to the 9.4 mile South I-71 for auto accident with possible entrapment. R89 found one car into the wall with all occupants out of the vehicle. 89 units able to handle.6/19/2015- At 0230 hours R89 and M89 responded to 10 mile marker North I-71 for one car MVA. Unit found one car into guard rail with moderate damage.
